ACCOUNTS CLERK

REPORTS TO: ACCOUNTANT

Duties and Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process and post bank transactions into the accounting system.

• Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier, statutory and operational payments.

• Perform monthly bank and creditor reconciliations.

• Prepare weekly and monthly cashflow statements.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assistwith procurement by liaising with suppliers on orders, deliveries and payments.

• Support monthly financial reporting and audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies and internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience

WHAT YOU BRING

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.

• Proficiency in ERP systems or accounting software, plus solid Microsoft Excel skills.

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and procurement processes.

• Sharp attention to detail, unquestionable integrity, and a track record of meeting deadlines.
